In Novermber of 2004, R.I. Kitchen and Bath received top honors, a Gold Award, in the category of Best Kitchen Remodeling Project completed (under $30,000) from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, (EM-NARI). In March 2005, R.I. Kitchen & Bath received regional top honors.

CotY (Contractor of the Year) Award winners have demonstrated the highest level of design innovation, construction craftsmanship, and business professionalism. These outstanding companies have delivered exceptional results for their clients while tackling challenging projects that deserve the recognition of the remodeling community."

With a large number of top-notch entries, EM-NARI CotY Awards are among the most competitive. Winners were selected by a panel of non-partisan judges, four well-respected professionals. The judges selected winners based on each entrant’s “Before and After” photography and project description. Judging also took into consideration problem solving, functionality, aesthetics, craftsmanship, innovation, degree of difficulty, and entry presentation.
